Description

Forced air drying oven 60 L 300 °C is a laboratory oven from the SNOL 60/300 LSN11 series intended for thermal treatment such as drying, preheating, thermal testing and ageing in an air atmosphere up to 300 °C. Forced air convection provides homogeneous temperature distribution throughout the process for consistent results. The working chamber is made of 304 stainless steel with perforated, position-adjustable shelves; the outer housing is powder-coated metal in grey RAL 7035. A ventilation motor is mounted at the rear, air flow is horizontal and chamber air exchange at 300 °C is 16 changes per hour. Control uses a digital Omron E5CC temperature controller with overtemperature protection; the control panel sits in the lower section of the unit. Useful volume is 60 l, power consumption 1,0 kW at 230 V AC, 50 Hz, single phase. Chamber dimensions are 380 mm width, 380 mm depth and 420 mm height; external dimensions are 600 × 760 × 720 mm. Net weight is 50 kg, with three shelves supplied as standard (maximum seven) from manufacturer SnolTherm.

Questions about Forced air drying oven 60 L 300 °C

What is this article?

Forced air drying oven 60 L 300 °C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
