Description
Universal oven UF450plus is a forced-air universal oven with a 449 l stainless-steel chamber for drying, heating and thermal conditioning from a working temperature of at least 10 °C above ambient up to +300 °C (setting range +20 °C to +300 °C). TwinDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT provides clear process oversight. Exhaust air flap and fan speed are electronically adjustable from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % increments. Delivery includes two grid shelves and a stainless-steel door. Ethernet connectivity supports protocol data readout, programme transfer and online logging; a USB port on the ControlCOCKPIT allows use of a USB stick. Multiple overtemperature protection, an integrated data logger with capacity for at least 10 years and setting of three calibration values on the ControlCOCKPIT aid reproducible operation. A factory calibration certificate for +160 °C is provided. Structured stainless-steel housing dimensions are 1224 × 1247 × 784 mm; the interior measures 1040 × 720 × 600 mm. Supply voltage is 400 V, 50/60 Hz, with maximum power consumption of about 5800 W and a net weight of 161 kg. The oven from manufacturer Memmert is supplied as 1 pc for laboratory and industrial thermal workflows.

Questions about Universal oven UF450plus, 449l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UF450plus, 449l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
