Description
Universal oven UF55plus is a forced-air laboratory universal oven with a 53 l stainless-steel chamber for drying, heating and general thermal processing. The working temperature range starts at least 10 °C above ambient and reaches +300 °C, while the settable range covers +20 °C to +300 °C. TwinDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT, one grid shelf and a stainless-steel door support everyday use. Exhaust flap position and fan speed are each electronically adjustable from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps for flexible airflow management. Ethernet enables protocol data readout, program transfer and online logging; a USB port on the ControlCOCKPIT allows use of a USB stick. Multiple overtemperature protection, an integrated data logger with storage for at least 10 years and three calibration values adjustable at the ControlCOCKPIT contribute to reliable operation. A factory calibration certificate for +160 °C is included. Structured stainless-steel housing measures 585 x 784 x 514 mm; the interior is 400 x 400 x 330 mm. The unit operates on 230 V, 50/60 Hz with approximately 2000 W maximum power draw. This model from manufacturer Memmert is supplied as one piece with 57 kg net weight.

Questions about Universal oven UF55plus, 53l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UF55plus, 53l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
