Uno Collector V4A/PTFE, 150 cm, with a single 17 ml sampling chamber is a target-point zone sampler for deliberate sampling from a defined depth or layer in bulk solids. Built from stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) with a PTFE core, it combines the robustness and chemical inertness of stainless steel with the lower weight of PTFE, giving excellent chemical resistance in demanding environments. The instrument is intended for powders and granules in sacks, drums, silos, big bags or heaps: a single target-point sample can be analysed for layer-to-layer variability, or several point samples can be combined into a representative composite for quality control. Colour-coded caps support clear identification when several collectors are used for different materials. Typical applications include foodstuffs such as grain, maize, nuts, powders and granules, pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates, chemical powders, and bulk construction materials such as sand and gravel. In use, the handle is turned clockwise to close the chamber for insertion, anticlockwise at the desired depth to fill, then clockwise again for withdrawal and emptying.
