Description
VISCO JET® 80 mm (POM) is an innovative stirring impeller engineered for dependable mixing of highly viscous media such as pastes and gels without introducing air into the vessel. Its special blade geometry creates a self-dynamic flow that achieves superior mixing performance and reduced process times relative to conventional stirrers. The design serves as a versatile solution for aqueous as well as high-viscosity substances. This 80 mm version is optimised for vessels with diameters of 133–200 mm, a bottom clearance of 24 mm, fill heights of 133–200 mm and working volumes of 1.900–6,300 ml. Constructed from POM plastic, the impeller is suitable for use up to a maximum of 90 °C. A polyamide-coated stirring shaft of approximately 10 mm diameter and 500 mm length is included. From manufacturer Heidolph, the VISCO JET® 80 mm (POM) provides efficient, low-aeration agitation for laboratory applications involving viscous formulations that require thorough homogenisation.

Questions about VISCO JET® Impeller 80mm (POM)
What is this article?
VISCO JET® Impeller 80mm (POM) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring & mixing accessories, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
Stirring accessories are the bosses, the retort clamps and the spare knobs that hold an overhead stirrer over the vessel. The stand has to carry the motor's mass, not only the flask's.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
