Description

Taq polymerase with green buffer x-VITA is a recombinant, purified, versatile and thermostable enzyme produced in an Escherichia coli strain carrying the cloned pol gene from Thermus aquaticus. The accompanying 10× green buffer contains an agarose loading formulation with two tracking dyes and a density agent that simplifies sample loading into agarose wells. The blue dye migrates with DNA fragments between 3 and 5 kb in 1 % agarose gel, while the yellow dye migrates faster than fragments of about 10 bp under the same conditions, enabling visual monitoring of electrophoresis progress. Supplied as a 500-piece pack with a net weight of 0,050 kg and a packaging volume of 0,001 m³, the set streamlines PCR setup and direct gel loading. This x-VITA combination from manufacturer Labbox is suited to routine amplification followed by immediate agarose analysis without separate loading-dye addition. Product type GQUENCE positions it among PCR reagents for sequence-oriented laboratory work. The dual-dye green buffer supports clear visual tracking from pipetting through separation, helping laboratories maintain efficient workflows from reaction assembly to fragment inspection.

Questions about x-VITA Green-Taq Polymerase, 500 U

What is this article?

x-VITA Green-Taq Polymerase, 500 U is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Enzymes & substrates, inside Biochemicals & reagents, in Microbiology lab supplies.

An enzyme is sold by activity, in units defined by a stated reaction, not only by milligrams. Source and specific activity are the specification. A substrate is the molecule that enzyme converts, often a chromogenic one so the reaction can be seen. Units from two suppliers are comparable only when the definition matches.

A biochemical is a molecule of life, sold as a reagent: an amino acid, a sugar, a nucleotide, a lipid, an enzyme, an antibiotic. The difference from a bulk chemical is that the use is a biological one, and the impurities that matter are the ones that change that use. An enzyme is specified by activity, not only by mass. An antibiotic is specified by potency. Papers are on PubMed. Structures are on PubChem. Strains and lines that consume these reagents are at ATCC.
