Description

0,5 ml microtubes with standing base and screw cap are sterile laboratory vessels for small-volume sample handling, centrifugation and cold storage. Moulded from medical-grade polypropylene conforming to USP Class VI and FDA requirements, they combine chemical resistance with the mechanical stability needed for high-speed work. From manufacturer Labbox, these tubes withstand relative centrifugal forces up to 20,000 g and tolerate freeze cycles at −80 °C as well as thawing at room temperature. A threaded closure with integrated O-ring improves sealing and stability during mixing, transport and storage. The standing base allows upright placement on the bench without a separate rack. Tubes are free from DNases, RNases, endotoxins, human DNA, PCR inhibitors and ATP, making them suitable for PCR, nucleic-acid workflows and other contamination-sensitive applications. Production in class 100.000 cleanrooms without secondary assembly supports a controlled manufacturing environment. A sterilization certificate is available. Each pack contains 100 sterile pieces for research and diagnostic laboratories.

This article is part of Microcentrifuge & reaction tubes, in Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes.

Questions about 0.5 ml microtubes with skirt, screw cap, sterile, 100 pcs

What is this article?

0.5 ml microtubes with skirt, screw cap, sterile, 100 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Tubes de microcentrifugation & tubes à réaction, inside Microplaques, PCR & tubes de réaction, in Consommables.

A microcentrifuge tube, the familiar 1.5 mL or 2 mL flip-cap tube, holds a small reaction or a spin-down. The cap style, the centrifugal-force rating and whether the tube is low-binding are the specification. A PCR tube is thinner and is a different article.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
