Description
Analytical balance GH-120-EC is a calibratable laboratory balance offering a maximum capacity of 120 g with 0,1 mg readability on a single full-resolution weighing range. It combines an antistatic glass draft shield with a spacious weighing chamber of 183 mm (W) × 148,5 mm (D) × 251 mm (H) and a 90 mm weighing pan for convenient sample handling. Motor-driven internal calibration and automatic self-calibration respond to changing ambient conditions, supporting stable analytical results. A standard RS-232C interface links printers, PCs or other peripherals, and WinCT communication software enables transfer of weighing data to a computer. Data memory, an ID number for GLP reports and automatic power-off assist GLP, GMP and ISO-oriented documentation workflows. From manufacturer A&D Instruments, this instrument is intended for precise analytical weighing in research, quality control and routine laboratory applications. Net weight is 8,2 kg; battery operation is not provided.

Questions about Analytical Balance, 120g x 0,1mg
What is this article?
Analytical Balance, 120g x 0,1mg is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes A&D for laboratory use. It sits in Analytical balances, inside Balances & scales, in Instruments de laboratoire.
An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer, inside a draft shield. It is for standards, for filter weights and for anything where the last digit is the result. Vibration, a slanted bench and a warm sample are how it lies.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
