Description
Analytical balance Series Luna with external calibration and 210 g capacity is a laboratory weighing instrument for routine analytical work. It supports weighing, percentage calculation, piece counting, animal weighing and dynamic weighing, density determination and checkweighing. Results appear on a large backlit LCD in g, mg, ct, GN, N, dr, oz, ozt, dwt, mm, tl.T, tl.H, tl.S, T and one personalised unit. USB and RS-232 interfaces allow data transfer, and GLP printouts are available when an optional printer is used. The balance combines an ABS housing with a large stainless steel weighing pan. The weighing chamber measures 192 × 195 × 230 mm; external dimensions are 224 × 374 × 338 mm. Supplied with a handbook, this model from manufacturer Labbox operates on 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz and includes a 5-year warranty. An optional manufacturer calibration certificate (BAAC-CAL-001) can be ordered together with the balance. Net weight is 5,250 kg. Delivery time is typically 10 to 20 days.

Questions about Analytical balance Luna series external cal., 210 g, EU plug
What is this article?
Analytical balance Luna series external cal., 210 g, EU plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Analytical balances, inside Balances & scales, in Instruments de laboratoire.
An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer, inside a draft shield. It is for standards, for filter weights and for anything where the last digit is the result. Vibration, a slanted bench and a warm sample are how it lies.
A balance compares a mass with a standard. An analytical balance reads to 0.1 mg or finer and needs a draft shield and a stable bench. A precision balance is coarser and faster. A platform scale takes a heavier load. The reading is only as good as the calibration chain back to the kilogram, which is why test weights and a certificate exist. A moisture analyser is a balance with a heater: it records the loss of mass as water leaves. The unit of mass is kept by the BIPM, compared across Europe by EURAMET, and accredited by BELAC. NIST publishes the same measurement foundations.
