Description
Bioreactor 10 l MyFerm Set is a glass reactor for incubation of microorganisms and cells, with an approximate working volume of 10 l. Approximate dimensions are height ca. 430 mm and diameter 230 mm. The set comprises fermentation vessel L14023010 and screw-connection set L140204V10. Material is Clean Save laboratory glass to DIN ISO 3585; all media-contacting parts are glass or PTFE/PP. The complete bioreactor is autoclavable at 121 °C. Medium tempering uses an optional tempering coil with an external circulating thermostat; above room temperature a heating mantle can be used instead. Three integrated baffles support magnetic-stirrer mixing. Ten threaded ports enable feeding, sampling and emptying, adaptation of probes such as temperature and pH, gassing at roughly 8–20 l/min gas throughput, exhaust filtration with external PTFE filters, and mounting of an in-build stainless-steel or glass heat exchanger. From manufacturer Landgraf HLL, the modular MyFerm design is configured with accessories into a flexible system for research and development.
