The slender column body is made of FEP, while the foot and top section are fabricated from pure PTFE, giving an inert, chemically resistant construction suited to aggressive media. Inlet and outlet lines as well as the riser are formed from FEP tubing 5,6 × 8 mm. A standard frit of porous PTFE with approximately 5 µm pore size is screwed to the riser on an M8×1 thread and can be exchanged for a PTFE gas distributor with fine bores when a lower inlet pressure is required. Overall height is 700 mm, column outer diameter is 54 mm, and the two hose connections accept tubing of 8 mm outer diameter. Net weight is 1,01 kg.
