C 200 h auto is a package that enables operation of the C 200 combustion calorimeter with fully automated water handling, intended for laboratories with low sample throughput. Water circulates in a closed circuit and is held at constant temperature by the RC 2 basic recirculating chiller, reducing preparation time and supporting reproducible results. The package includes the C 200 calorimeter measuring cell, C 5012 halogen-resistant catalytically activated decomposition vessel, C 248 oxygen station, C 200.2 conversion set for C 5012, RC 2 basic recirculating chiller, C 200.RC hose set and consumables for installation and calibration. The C 5012 vessel is designed for combustion of halogen- and sulphur-containing samples (> 3 %); Hastelloy construction resists corrosion from high chlorine content, while the catalytically active inner surface supports higher recovery rates when subsequent halogen and sulphur analysis is required. Four modes control measurement duration: isoperibol approx. 17 min, dynamic approx. 8 min, manual approx. 17 min and time-controlled 14 min. Gross calorific values of liquid and solid samples are determined according to DIN 51900, ISO 1928 and selected ASTM methods. Optional C 6040 CalWin software enables control, visualisation and data export; a PC is not included. This package is from manufacturer IKA.
