Cobalt Standard Solution is a metallo-organic calibration material containing 1000 mg/kg Co in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil. The ROTI®Star preparation combines a defined cobalt loading with an oil matrix of 20 cSt viscosity for use as a reference solution in a hydrocarbon carrier. Physical data include a density of 0,862 g/cm³, a flash point of 115 °C and a boiling point above 218 °C. The product is supplied as a 50 ml unit with a weight of 0,100 kg from manufacturer Carl ROTH, a practical pack size for preparing working standards and keeping a laboratory stock of oil-based elemental solutions.
