Description

Cr 14758 chromate reagent test provides reliable photometric determination of chromate across the measuring range 0,01–3,00 mg/l Cr. The procedure follows the diphenylcarbazide method and corresponds to DIN 38405-24 as well as APHA 3500-Cr B. A sample volume of 5 ml is required and the reagents are compatible with 10 mm, 20 mm and 50 mm cuvettes on PhotoLab® instruments. Each package supplies material for 250 tests and is supplied with a batch certificate that documents consistent quality. For the determination of total chromium the additional use of Crack-Set 10 together with empty round cuvettes or Crack-Set 10-C is necessary. This reagent system from manufacturer WTW – a Xylem brand is intended for routine water, wastewater and environmental laboratories that need standardised, reproducible chromate results. The clear measuring range, defined sample volume and instrument compatibility support efficient workflow in process control and compliance monitoring applications where accurate chromium speciation data are required.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about Cr 14758, Chromate Reagent test Measuring range: 0.01 - 3

What is this article?

Cr 14758, Chromate Reagent test Measuring range: 0.01 - 3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Produits chimiques.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
