Made from POM plastic, it operates at a division ratio of 1:8 and yields eight equal sample portions. Maximum feed particle size is 10 mm and maximum sample quantity is 4000 ml; both dry and wet division are supported. Compatible sample-bottle useful volumes are 25 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml with GL55 glass thread. The complete unit from manufacturer Fritsch is supplied as standard with eight 500 ml sample bottles fitted with screw caps and a 10 mm diameter funnel. This configuration is recommended for non-abrasive solids and suspensions in sample-preparation workflows. Net weight is 6,0 kg. An alternative anodised-aluminium version is available for abrasive materials. The dividing head provides reproducible sample division for research, quality-control and industrial laboratory applications.
