Description
DJS-0.1-S conductivity/temperature electrode is a specialised probe for conductivity measurement of purified and ultrapure water. It features a flow-through module that minimises the influence of atmospheric CO2 on low-level readings, together with a highly sensitive platinum-chip sensor design that ensures accurate results in the low-conductivity range of 0 to 200 µS/cm. The cell constant is K = 0,1. An integrated 30 kΩ thermistor provides simultaneous temperature measurement and automatic temperature compensation. The shaft is manufactured from lead-free glass; the platinum sensing element measures 7 × 18 mm and the overall electrode body is Ø12 × 155 mm. A 1 m cable terminates in an 8-pin connector. Compatible meters include the EC950, PC950, EC9500, PC9500, EC800, PC800, EC820 and PC820 series from Apera Instruments. Supplied as one piece, this electrode is intended for laboratory pure-water and ultrapure-water monitoring where low cell constants, CO2 exclusion and reliable ATC are essential for trustworthy low-range conductivity data.

Questions about DJS-0.1-S Conductivity/Temp. Electrode for Pure Water, 8 Pin
What is this article?
DJS-0.1-S Conductivity/Temp. Electrode for Pure Water, 8 Pin is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
