Dual water softener DUO-20 LF is a mechanically operated, fully automatic volume-controlled cabinet softener for continuous soft-water supply ahead of reverse-osmosis systems. Two resin vessels share one control head inside a space-saving cabinet that also houses the salt-dissolving valve with protective tube and a sieve base for the salt store. The LF low-flow nozzle detects streams from 0,19 l/min up to 19 l/min, helping prevent hardness breakthrough even at low demand. Operation is power-free, regeneration uses soft water, and plastic components support corrosion resistance with low salt and water use: 0,45 kg salt and 19 l water per regeneration in about 11 min. Each unit holds 2 × 4,5 l resin and 18 kg salt. Working pressure is 1,0–8,6 bar, connections are 3/4'', and the service temperature range is 2–65 °C. Compact dimensions of 560 × 360 × 360 mm and 27 kg weight (Evoqua Water Technologies) suit under-bench installation as reliable RO pretreatment.
