Description
DURAN® GL 45 stirred reactor set is a complete standalone bottle stirring system for straightforward laboratory mixing, supplied with a clear 500 ml bottle, blue PP screw cap, two GL 14 ports, two red PBT GL 14 caps and a folding blade stirrer. The adjustable stirrer shaft can be positioned optimally in a 500 or 1000 ml DURAN® GL 45 bottle and runs on standard magnetic stirrers up to 500 rpm, delivering markedly better mixing than ordinary magnetic stir bars. Built from chemically resistant PP, PTFE, PEEK and stainless steel by Duran/DWK Life Sciences, media-contact parts meet FDA requirements and the system is fully autoclavable and suitable for food contact. Flexible DURAN® GL 45 / GL 14 tubing connectors accept semi-rigid tubing of 1,6, 3,0, 3,2 or 6,0 mm outer diameter for liquid or gas addition and removal. Not intended for overhead laboratory stirrers. Applications include simple cost-effective bioreactors, continuous-flow stirred reactors, mixing of liquids, samples or reagents, and photo-bioreactor work. Nominal volume 0,5 l; pack of 1 piece.
