DURAN® GLS 80® double-walled laboratory bottle is a clear, wide-neck borosilicate glass 3.3 vessel with a nominal volume of 1 l and an integrated glass jacket for precise temperature management. Hot or cold liquids circulated through the outer mantle regulate the temperature of the contents inside the screw-cap bottle, offering a sealable and versatile alternative to lidless jacketed beakers. The broad GLS 80® neck simplifies access to samples and media, while 10 mm PTFE inlet and outlet hose connections arranged around the jacket promote even heating or cooling; removable GL 18 outlet connectors add operational flexibility and safety. A clearly readable scale on the inner vessel supports straightforward volume control. Complete with a blue polypropylene screw cap and pouring ring, the bottle is well suited to temperature-controlled reactions including enzyme digestion, constant-temperature holding, handling of endo- or exothermic reagents, and service as an economical chemostat, bioreactor or large cold trap when dry ice is placed in the inner chamber.
