DURAN® bille de joint sphérique capillaire, taille impériale S 13/2, est un composant de précision en borosilicate glass 3.3 conçu pour des raccordements flexibles en verre de laboratoire. Fabriqués selon DIN 12244 et DIN 12264, ces joints sphériques permettent des couplages pliables et flexibles jusqu'à 15° selon la taille du joint ; des angles supérieurs à 5° peuvent réduire l'étanchéité. La taille nominale se rapporte au diamètre nominal du joint sphérique et, le cas échéant, à l'alésage libre du tube. Les raccordements de joints doivent être utilisés avec de la graisse pour rodages ou des manchons PTFE, et les pinces pour joints sphériques avec vis de blocage assurent une fixation sûre.
