Description
Fe 14761/1 iron reagent test enables sensitive photometric quantification of iron in the measuring range 0,005–5,00 mg/l Fe. The analysis is based on the triazine method and is suitable for both PhotoLab® and pHotoFlex® instruments. A sample volume of 5 ml is used with 10 mm, 20 mm or 50 mm cuvettes. The package contains reagents for 1000 tests and includes a batch certificate. Combicheck CC90 is available for quality control. When total iron is required, Crack-Set 10 with empty round cuvettes or Crack-Set 10-C must be employed in addition. This high-capacity reagent kit from manufacturer WTW – a Xylem brand supports high-throughput laboratories performing routine iron monitoring in water, wastewater and industrial process streams. The wide measuring range, large number of tests and dual-instrument compatibility make the system practical for both laboratory and field-oriented photometric workflows that demand reproducible iron results under standardised conditions.

Questions about Fe 14761/1, Iron Reagent test Measuring range: 0.005 - 5.0
What is this article?
Fe 14761/1, Iron Reagent test Measuring range: 0.005 - 5.0 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Produits chimiques.
An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.
A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
