The mythical creature "Sphinx" has a lion body and often a human head. High purity NUCLEODUR® silica gel is modified with a balanced ratio of propylphenyl and C18 ligands. This bifunctional RP phase shows a unique selectivity and widens the scope for method development based on hydrophobic and additional π-π interactions.
