Description
Lower part with PTFE piston, variable, 1 mL is a specialised replacement lower part for Eppendorf Reference® 2 single-channel pipettes with a nominal volume of 1,000 µL. The component features a PTFE coating that delivers higher chemical resistance and is intended for work with highly aggressive chemicals such as trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). Blue colour coding identifies the 1 mL / 1,000 µL volume range at a glance during assembly and routine handling. After the lower part has been replaced, a full pipette calibration is recommended to restore metrological performance. Attention: this lower part is not autoclavable and must be cleaned and maintained according to the instrument instructions. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,045 kg and gross weight of 0,050 kg, the spare part fits compact storage in service kits. Manufactured by Eppendorf in Germany, it supports laboratories that need durable liquid-handling components for demanding chemical applications while remaining fully compatible with the Reference® 2 single-channel platform.
