LR-2.ST the Versatile S002 is a modular laboratory reactor intended for optimising and reproducing diverse chemical reaction, mixing and homogenising processes at laboratory scale. The system stands out through its stirring shaft mounts, which safely transfer the high torque of the motors. Free connections on the reactor lid accommodate dispersing devices (ULTRA-TURRAX®), temperature sensors, flow breakers and further accessories. Suitable for vacuum operation, it employs product-contact seals of solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM). Speed is continuously adjustable, while an integrated torque trend display allows measurement of viscosity changes. Microprocessor-controlled regulation maintains the set speed constantly under load. A removable Wireless Controller (WiCo) supports safe use in a laboratory fume hood. The LR-2.ST laboratory reactor system from manufacturer IKA comprises a stand system, the EUROSTAR 100 control laboratory stirrer with left- and right-rotation function, a safety shut-off and the reactor lid.
