LR-5.ST the High Performer laboratory reactor is a modular system for optimising and reproducing chemical reaction, mixing and homogenising processes at the 5 litre laboratory scale. The reactor features a robust stirring-shaft receptacle that safely transmits the high torque of the drive. Free ports in the reactor lid accept dispersing tools (ULTRA-TURRAX®), temperature sensors, flow breakers and other accessories. Suitable for vacuum operation down to 25 mbar, the unit employs product-contacting seals of solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM). Continuously variable speed, an integrated torque-trend display for viscosity monitoring and microprocessor control that holds the set speed constant under load are standard. A removable Wireless Controller (WiCo) permits safe operation inside a fume hood. From manufacturer IKA, the complete LR-5.ST package comprises the stand system, EUROSTAR 200 P4 control laboratory stirrer with elevated torque, safety shut-off and reactor lid, enabling stirring, dispersing and tempering in a single vacuum-compatible step.
