Description

LTC1/23VP is a conductivity measuring cell with a plastic shaft and two graphite electrodes, designed for conductivity determination in laboratory and process settings. The sensor operates over −5…80 °C and has a cell constant of approximately 1 cm⁻¹, suitable for many general conductivity applications. An integrated Pt 1000 element allows temperature measurement and compensation in parallel with the conductivity signal. Electrical and mechanical connection is provided by a Variopin screw plug head with PG 13,5 thread for mating to compatible holders and cable systems. Supplied as a single unit from manufacturer Meinsberg - a Xylem brand, the LTC1/23VP combines dual graphite electrodes, a plastic shaft, built-in Pt 1000, and Variopin PG 13,5 connectivity in one compact assembly. Gross weight is approximately 0,10 kg. Choose this cell when a plastic-body two-electrode graphite conductivity sensor with cell constant near 1 cm⁻¹ and Variopin screw connection is needed for analytical or monitoring use.

This article is part of Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about LTC1/23VP

What is this article?

LTC1/23VP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Meinsberg - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Instruments de laboratoire.

A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
