L'éprouvette de forme haute mesure 226 mm de hauteur et présente des graduations annulaires bleues avec une division d'échelle de 1 ml pour une lecture aisée. Un rodage NS 19/26 est équipé du bouchon en polyéthylène fourni afin d'assurer une fermeture sûre pendant le mélange ou le stockage temporaire.
