Measuring pipette, soda-lime glass, Class AS, Type 1 with blue print is a precision volumetric tool for accurate measuring and transferring of liquids. With a nominal volume of 25 ml, it permits uptake of differing liquid quantities and delivery in equal or variously sized partial amounts. Fabricated from soda-lime glass (AR-Glas®), the pipette is adjusted to deliver (Ex) at a reference temperature of +20 °C and conforms to Class AS with a 15-second waiting time. Volume tolerances match the error limits of the German Calibration Ordinance as well as ISO and DIN standards. The scale carries main-point ring graduation with numbering from top to bottom for partial delivery and includes a cotton-plug end. The blue graduation is fired-on for permanent durability and clear readability. Pipettes of this Class AS grade carry a batch number and are supplied with a batch certificate that records the mean value of the batch, standard deviation and issue date; certificates are also available online. The four-digit batch code indicates production year and batch.
