L'agitateur est entièrement constitué de PTFE. Un noyau en acier inoxydable assure la fixation nécessaire dans la bague de serrage de l'agitateur. L'agitateur est fermement ancré à la tige : il ne se desserre pas sous l'effet de la rotation continue du milieu après l'arrêt de l'agitateur. Comme les produits à agiter ne sont en contact qu'avec du PTFE, les tiges d'agitation sont pratiquement résistantes aux produits chimiques et supportent des températures d'application élevées. Les dimensions des tiges d'agitation correspondent à celles des tiges d'agitation en verre (KPG) et sont donc interchangeables à tout moment. Avec pince de serrage conique, pour faciliter le serrage des tiges d'agitation.
