Safety Waste Cap Lisa S90, PTFE-EL is an electrically conductive laboratory waste closure for the controlled collection of liquid solvent waste. This V3.0 Lisa model is equipped with an S90 thread and is manufactured from PTFE-EL so that electrostatic charge can be dissipated during handling of flammable HPLC and UHPLC eluents. Four capillary fittings accept outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm and are accompanied by four PFA blind plugs for unused ports. Three further ports cover tubing with inner diameters from 5,0 mm to 11,5 mm; these are supplied with three PTFE blind plugs together with a dedicated connection for an exhaust-air filter. The complete assembly is delivered as one piece with a net weight of 0,363 kg and a gross weight of 0,390 kg. Produced by manufacturer SCAT in Germany, the cap forms part of a modular safety-waste system that can be configured to the tubing layout of the laboratory. Blind plugs seal any openings that are not required, while the filter port supports safe pressure equalisation and vapour retention. The electrically conductive PTFE-EL body is intended for routine analytical waste streams where both chemical resistance and electrostatic safety are required.
