Description

SY SP 1000 inlet tube is intended for introducing gases into the reaction solution of EasySyn reactor vessels with a total volume of 1000 ml. The P1 frit fitted at the outlet finely disperses the gas stream, supporting effective mass transfer into the liquid phase. It matches NS 14/23 ground joints and is suitable for EasySyn vessels SY 1000 D and SY 1000. This accessory from manufacturer IKA enables controlled gas sparging in laboratory synthesis and scale-up experiments. During gas introduction the reactor vessel must not be fully closed, in order to prevent overpressure. Supplied as one piece, the tube fits directly into the corresponding EasySyn configuration and provides a straightforward route for inerting, reactive-gas addition or continuous gas feed. The fritted design promotes uniform bubble distribution without separate spargers, making the SY SP 1000 a practical component for gas–liquid reactions performed in 1000 ml EasySyn reactor systems.

Questions about SY SP 1000, Sparger for 1000 ml reactor vessel

What is this article?

SY SP 1000, Sparger for 1000 ml reactor vessel is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Reaction vessels & jacketed vessels, inside Beakers & flasks, in Matériel de laboratoire.

A reaction vessel is the flask a synthesis actually runs in, sometimes jacketed so a fluid can heat or cool the wall. The joints, the working volume and the jacket connections are the specification. It is not a storage bottle.

A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
