Description
Volumetric flask class A, coated, 50 ml, with blue graduation and PP stopper for ground joint NS 12/21 is intended for safe handling of hazardous or valuable solutions. Made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass 3.3 and calibrated to DIN/ISO class A, it follows the same technical specifications as the corresponding clear volumetric flasks. The body carries a specially formulated transparent coating that behaves like a protective glove: if the glass breaks, fragments are held together and the risk of spillage is greatly reduced. In most cases the coating retains the liquid inside the flask without leakage. The coating withstands temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, may be cleaned at up to 95 °C and can be autoclaved at 121 °C; direct contact with an open flame must be avoided. Blue graduation and enamel markings remain clearly legible through the coating. Supplied with a leak-proof PP stopper for a secure seal, this coated flask from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte is recommended wherever breakage containment is essential in analytical and quality-control work. Pack size is 2 pieces.

Questions about volumetric flask - standard - clear - class A - conformity batch certified -
What is this article?
volumetric flask - standard - clear - class A - conformity batch certified - is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric flasks, inside Volumetric glassware, in Matériel de laboratoire.
A volumetric flask is calibrated to contain one volume at a reference temperature, with a single mark on a narrow neck. Class A is the tight tolerance. It is not a storage bottle and it is not for heating. The stopper is part of the calibrated article.
Volumetric glassware is glass that has been calibrated to contain or to deliver one stated volume at a reference temperature. That calibration is the whole point. Class A and class AS have a tighter tolerance than class B. A volumetric flask contains. A pipette and a burette deliver. A measuring cylinder is the coarser reading, used when the volume is not the result. The classes sit under ISO laboratory glassware. The chain back to the unit of volume is the work of the BIPM and of NIST.
