Elle se caractérise par un fonctionnement simple et un nettoyage facile, une très faible consommation d'eau, une pression finale constante et une capacité d'aspiration élevée. Le raccordement de la conduite d'aspiration utilise une olive de 6 – 9 mm de diamètre extérieur avec bouchon à vis GL 14. À une pression d'écoulement de 3.5 bar et une température d'eau de 12 °C, la consommation d'eau est d'env. 190 l/h ; la capacité d'aspiration est de 400 l/h ; la pression finale est < 16 mbar ; la mise sous vide d'un récipient de 1 l de la pression normale à 100 mbar prend 60 s (± 10 s), nécessitant environ 6 l d'eau pour atteindre la pression finale. Le raccordement au vide est amovible ; les adaptateurs fournis permettent un couplage polyvalent au réseau d'eau.
