Description

WP 90/3 exchange membrane heads provide three replacement membrane caps suitable for the majority of WTW oxygen sensors. The set is designed for all oxygen sensors except StirrOx® G and DurOx® 325, allowing straightforward membrane renewal during regular sensor maintenance. Fresh membrane heads restore the diffusion barrier required for accurate dissolved-oxygen readings in laboratory, field and process applications. Each pack contains three ready-to-fit heads, supporting multiple service intervals without the need for immediate reordering. These consumables are supplied by manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand and integrate directly with the corresponding sensor bodies used in water analysis, wastewater monitoring and environmental testing. With a net weight of only 0,009 kg the compact pack is easy to store alongside meters and calibration solutions. Laboratories and service technicians rely on WP 90/3 heads to keep oxygen measurement systems operational, minimise downtime and maintain consistent sensor response across successive measurement campaigns.

This article is part of Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, in pH & electrochemistry.

Questions about WP 90/3, 3 exchange membrane heads for all DO sensors, except StirrOx® G and Dur

What is this article?

WP 90/3, 3 exchange membrane heads for all DO sensors, except StirrOx® G and Dur is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de laboratoire.

A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
