Why Serological pipettes?

A serological pipette is a long graduated tube, usually sterile plastic, used with a controller for media and buffers. Volume, 1 mL to 50 mL, and whether it is plug-tipped are the choices. It is calibrated to deliver, often including the last drop by blow-out.
