Description
BOLA Duett Temperature Probe Lemo Compact, PTFE/ED is a dual PT100 temperature probe designed for laboratory and process temperature measurement. Two independent PT100 measuring sensors are integrated in a single PTFE-coated stainless steel tube (material 1.4571), providing redundant or comparative readings from one immersion point. The probe has a diameter of 8 mm, a usable working length of 400 mm and an overall length of approximately 500 mm. A drop-protection ring with a diameter of 12 mm helps safeguard the assembly against mechanical impact. Electrical connection is realised through two Lemo® size 1 sockets mounted directly on the probe body, each wired in 4-conductor technique. Typical response times are T50 between 20 and 24 s and T90 of 30 s; the coupling width is about 27 mm. This compact BOLA probe from manufacturer Bohlender combines chemical resistance of the PTFE sheath with robust stainless-steel construction and is supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,1196 kg for use in temperature monitoring setups that benefit from dual independent sensors.

Questions about BOLA Double Temperature Probes Lemo Compact, Ø 8 mm, L 500 mm PTFE/Stainless Ste
What is this article?
BOLA Double Temperature Probes Lemo Compact, Ø 8 mm, L 500 mm PTFE/Stainless Ste is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
