The set comprises a screw cap with shaft holder, two GL 14 connections, two GL 18 connections and one stainless steel shaft with PEEK screw connection. The magnetic stirrer is supported both from above and at mid-vessel, enabling safe, reproducible mixing while reducing the risk of cells being crushed between the stirring tool and the vessel bottom. The stirring element is interchangeable, with operation in the range of 400–500 revolutions per minute. The entire set is autoclavable, simplifying cleaning and sterilisation between runs.
