Safety Cap III, GL/S40 is a laboratory closure for secure HPLC solvent supply, equipped with three PFA fittings for 3,2 mm outer-diameter tubing plus an integrated ventilation valve. SCAT Safety Caps have been continuously refined for more than twenty years as a standard solution that blocks harmful vapours and protects the HPLC system from contamination. Solvents can be withdrawn safely from bottles and containers without exposing personnel to hazardous gases and solvent vapours. The complete assembly includes an integrated air valve with change indicator for reliable pressure equalisation. A 360° rotatable screw closure that is autoclavable up to 200 °C offers high flexibility in daily use. High-grade materials provide chemical resistance against aggressive organic solvents, while the stable construction supports straightforward handling and a clear arrangement of connections. An improved design simplifies connection of colour-coded capillaries. Each unit from manufacturer SCAT is supplied with a free air valve featuring a change indicator, combining laboratory and personnel safety with practical operation.
