Safety Waste Cap LISA V3.0 with S50 thread is a modular safety closure system engineered for the safe collection of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. Fabricated from chemically resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the base module forms part of a modern, universally expandable construction-kit platform offering an outstanding variety of threads, ports and extension possibilities. Its 360° freely rotatable screw cap enables effortless container exchange without twisting the tubing. Redesigned fittings simplify connection of capillaries measuring 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter, while three hose connectors accommodate larger tubing with 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter. The delivery includes four PFA blanking plugs, three PTFE blanking plugs and a dedicated exhaust-filter port. SCAT exhaust filters with optimised activated carbon retain harmful vapours and maintain safe pressure equalisation. PTFE satellites and blind plugs support extension and firm attachment of accessories such as funnels. Supplied with 23 accessory components, the system from manufacturer SCAT is immediately ready for use and can be adapted flexibly to changing laboratory disposal requirements.
