Description

TetraCon® 925/LV is a 4-pole IDS conductivity measuring cell with graphite electrodes and epoxy shaft, realised in a specialised fork design with a cell constant of 0,469 cm⁻¹. It is intended for precise conductivity measurements in small sample volumes from approximately 2,5 ml as well as in viscous media where conventional cells are less practical. The sensor is supplied with a 1,5 m fixed cable ending in a waterproof digital plug for direct meter connection. Graphite electrodes ensure dependable long-term performance, while the epoxy construction offers durability under laboratory conditions. This low-volume cell from manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand integrates into the IDS digital platform for automatic sensor identification and data management. The fork geometry minimises sample consumption and supports efficient analysis of limited or highly viscous materials. Ideal for pharmaceutical, biotechnological and research laboratories. Delivered as one complete unit ready for immediate use.

This article is part of Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about TetraCon® 925/LV, 4-electrode-IDS conductivity cell with graphite electrodes, ep

What is this article?

TetraCon® 925/LV, 4-electrode-IDS conductivity cell with graphite electrodes, ep is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Instruments de laboratoire.

A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.

Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
