Each well offers a 150 µL working volume with extremely thin-walled polypropylene walls that support efficient temperature transfer during cycling. A rigid, torsion-resistant polycarbonate frame keeps the plate flat and stable through incubation and centrifugation, while raised well rims promote effective sealing and help reduce cross-contamination risk. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on every plate strengthen process traceability, and the OptiTrack® matrix with optical guide grid speeds accurate manual pipetting alignment. The one-piece design from manufacturer Eppendorf pairs a durable frame with LoBind polypropylene wells to improve recovery of precious nucleic acid samples.
