Simple test system for detection, or exclusion, of coliform contamination on surfaces. Optimal for hygiene monitoring and for minimisation of the contamination risk caused by coliforms in general., particularly E. coli.This ROTITEST®Coliform is very easy to apply: Using the integrated swab the respective surface is probed and the swab is firmly pressed into the sterile nutrient medium. After incubation for 18-24 hours (37 °C) a distinct colour shift of the medium from purple to yellow indicates the presence of coliforms, hence the contamination of the respective surface. Each package contains simple-to-follow instructions-for-use. Note: This test system only allows exclusion, or affirmation, of a coliform contamination per se. Quantitation is not possible.
The ROTITEST® systems do not provide quantitative information about the level of contamination.
