Bode hand disinfectant Sterillium, 1000 ml, is the established alcohol-based hand disinfectant for hygienic and surgical use. The formulation is especially skin-friendly and refatting, and remains extraordinarily well tolerated during prolonged daily use. Only about 3 ml is needed per application. It acts comprehensively against bacteria, fungi and enveloped viruses—bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal and limited virucidal (including HBV, HIV and HCV)—and is effective against herpes simplex virus, influenza A virus, SARS virus, adeno-, papova- and rotavirus. The product is listed under RKI list area A and VAH; surgical hand disinfection requires a 1,5-minute contact time. Active ingredients are propan-2-ol, propan-1-ol and mecetronium ethyl sulfate. Supplied as a practical 1000 ml unit from manufacturer neolab - Labor, it supports high-throughput laboratory and medical workflows. Not intended for neonates or premature infants; use electrical devices only after drying; keep clear of open flames and ignition sources (flash point 23 °C).
