C 200 h halogen-resistant calorimeter is a standards-compliant, space-saving combustion calorimeter for determining the calorific values of liquid and solid samples. The C 200 h package is well suited to teaching and training at schools, universities of applied sciences and universities, and also serves industrial laboratories with low analysis volumes thanks to its semi-automatic isoperibol measuring mode. The package from manufacturer IKA comprises the C 200 calorimeter measuring cell, the C 5012 halogen-resistant, catalytically activated decomposition vessel, the C 200.2 conversion set for C 5012, the C 248 oxygen station and consumables for installation and calibration. Water and oxygen filling and emptying are performed manually; higher sample throughput can be automated with the separately available C 200.RC hose set and RC 2 basic cooler. The catalytically activated Hastelloy C 5012 vessel is designed for halogen- and sulphur-containing samples above 3 % and resists corrosion from high chlorine content while supporting higher recovery rates when halogens and sulphur are analysed after combustion. Four operating modes control measuring times: isoperibol approx. 17 min, dynamic approx. 8 min, manual approx. 17 min and time-controlled 14 min. Calorific-value determination follows DIN 51900, ISO 1928, ASTM D240, ASTM D4809, ASTM D5865, ASTM D1989, ASTM D5468 and ASTM E711. Optional C 6040 Calwin software monitors and visualises the run and exports data to Excel, Word, SQL or LIMS.

Questions about C 200 h, Calorimeter, halogen resistant
What is this article?
C 200 h, Calorimeter, halogen resistant is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instrumenten.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
