It combines the ROTAVISC SBS me-vi rotational viscometer with the CBC VISC lite heating bath and circulator from manufacturer IKA, enabling direct measurement of the sample in the bath under controlled conditions. The viscometer covers a measuring range from 100 to 40.000.000 mPas and is equipped with advanced SBS (steel ball bearing, suspended) technology for high reliability at elevated sample throughput, frequent spindle or location changes, or in rather harsh environments. The CBC VISC lite thermostat spans −25 °C to 125 °C and accommodates two standard 600 ml beakers, so a second sample can be pre-tempered during an ongoing run. Natural refrigerant R290 provides an environmentally friendly cooling option. Optimised water-flow management in the insulated bath ensures rapid, accurate temperature regulation, while an external pump connection allows heating of DIN standard vessels for absolute viscosity determination with ELVAS spindles or double-walled beakers. A easily removable air filter supports straightforward maintenance. Compatibility with labworldsoft® software enables automation, control and documentation of results.
