CellCamper® Maxi is a cool transport box for the safe transport of cells without ice or other external energy sources. Special cooling units covering the ranges 0 to +4 °C, -20 to 0 °C and -22 to -18 °C maintain the required temperature for between 5 and 14 hours. Dry ice may be used as an alternative to the cooling units. The unit is delivered with two Ultrafrozen cooling units (-22 to -18 °C, up to 6 hours), a universal aluminium box for various vessels and a practical carrying strap that simplifies longer-distance transport. The aluminium box can be exchanged for two aluminium blocks when needed. Its construction prevents vessels from tipping over and provides more controlled, secure transport than earlier solutions. In the event of soiling or contamination the box can be cleaned easily with alcohol. Further cooling units and aluminium blocks are available as accessories from manufacturer neolab - Labor. This complete Maxi set supports reliable cold-chain handling of sensitive cell samples in the laboratory and during transfer between sites.
