Beschrijving

CellCamper® Mini is a freezing box for cells designed for the gentle freezing of mammalian cells, including cell lines, primary cells and stem cells. It holds 60 × 2,0 ml cryogenic tubes and delivers a standardised, reproducible freezing rate of −1 °C per minute when placed in a −80 °C freezer. The innovative construction combines a heat-conducting alloy with highly insulating outer materials, ensuring uniform heat removal from every individual sample. No isopropanol or other alcohol is required, eliminating recurring consumable costs and pre-cooling steps. The robust design allows the lid to be removed easily even when frozen, and samples can be taken from the freezer without gloves. After thawing, the box is ready for reuse within about five minutes once any condensation is wiped away. Excellent cell recovery and viability are supported by the controlled cooling profile. This CellCamper® Mini unit from manufacturer neolab - Labor is supplied as a single piece and is intended for standardised cryopreservation workflows in cell-culture and biobanking laboratories.

Questions about CellCamper® Mini, freezing box for cells, 60 x 2.0 ml cryotubes

What is this article?

CellCamper® Mini, freezing box for cells, 60 x 2.0 ml cryotubes is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenic vials & tubes, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Verbruiksartikelen.

A cryogenic vial is a small tube with a seal made for very low temperatures. Internal and external threads differ. A vial that will see liquid nitrogen has to be rated for it, and it should not be overfilled, because trapped liquid expands. The cap insert is part of the seal.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
