Counting system KERN CCA 30K-5M is a high-resolution piece-counting solution for determining even the smallest parts in large batches, with a maximum displayable piece count of 999.999. The dual-scale concept pairs a precision reference balance with a robust quantity platform so that a wide range of separate scales can be replaced efficiently in one setup. Optional verification supports use in legally controlled applications. The balances are linked by an RS-232 Y-cable that also allows a printer to be connected. The reference unit is a KERN EWJ precision balance that can also be used alone; timed internal automatic adjustment every 2 h supports consistent accuracy independent of location. A draft shield is standard, with a weighing chamber of 134×128×80 mm, and a protective working cover is included. Quantity counting takes place on the KERN IFS industrial platform scale from manufacturer Kern, built for demanding environments. Its ergonomic indicator offers a large keypad and high-contrast displays for tare, reference weight and total piece count, 100 article memory locations, stepwise manual reference optimisation, piece summing, and date/time printout.
