DURAN® in-line filter Ø 90 mm with porosity 1 is a laboratory filtration component made of borosilicate glass 3.3 for solid-liquid separations as well as filtration and substance separation of reaction mixtures from the gas phase. When the filter is installed in a hose or pipeline system it removes solids from the gas phase and thereby purifies the carrier gas. The white printed marking is fired into the glass and therefore remains permanently durable. Available from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, this in-line filter is particularly suited for integration into gas lines in order to free gases from mechanical impurities such as dust. Further application areas include qualitative analysis and preparative chemistry, filtration under reduced pressure, and general laboratory filtration tasks. The borosilicate glass 3.3 construction provides the chemical resistance required for routine work with reaction mixtures.
