Beschrijving
EC950 Laboratory Conductivity Meter with Test Stand, incl. Magnetic Stirrer performs reliable conductivity measurements with high ease of use for laboratory applications. The large illuminated LCD simultaneously shows conductivity, TDS, salinity and temperature together with measurement and calibration details. An integrated microprocessor chip supports automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation (0 to 50 °C), function settings, self-diagnosis and storage of 100 data groups. Overall conductivity range is 0 to 200 mS/cm with sub-ranges from 0 to 19,99 μS/cm up to 20,0 to 199,9 mS/cm; TDS covers 0 to 100 g/l and salinity 0 to 100 ppt. Resolution is 0,01/0,1/1 μS/cm with accuracy ±1,0 % F.S. ± 1 digit and selectable cell constants 0,1/1/10 cm⁻¹. Temperature is measured from 0 to 100 °C at 0,1 °C resolution. Graphical guidance and multilingual operation (German, English, Chinese, Spanish) simplify handling. The complete package from manufacturer APERA Instruments includes the 2401T-F conductivity electrode, standard solutions (84 μS/cm; 1413 μS/cm; 12,88 mS/cm, 50 ml each), electrode holder, magnetic stirrer with speed memory, USB output and PC-Link software. Housing is IP54-rated; dimensions are 360 × 235 × 400 mm and weight is 1,7 kg. Manufacturer warranty is 3 years (6 months on the electrode).

Questions about EC950 Benchtop Conductivity Meter Kit with Magnetic Stirrer
What is this article?
EC950 Benchtop Conductivity Meter Kit with Magnetic Stirrer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instrumenten.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
